During my time as a Maternity Nurse I have become more and more aware that there is a lack of or limited support out there for the parents of a newborn. Often, just the answer to a single question would make your next few weeks so much more enjoyable.
Upon the recommendation of families and friends whom I have supported, I decided to set up this website providing information and one to one support services for new parents.
I am regularly asked:
- When will my baby sleep through the night?
- Why does my baby fall asleep when feeding?
- How can I prevent this from happening?
- Should I have a routine?
- Where should I start?
- Does my baby have colic?
- How do I diagnose reflux?
- How often should I feed?
- When should my baby sleep?
The list goes on……
With conflicting advice from family and friends, grandma who’s had three babies of her own and the tower of books at your bedside that you try to make sense of at 4am whilst settling the baby, its hard to know where to start!
We will work together to establish a plan that suits you and your baby’s needs.
I am here as one to one support regardless of your issue and will not judge. As a parent of two small children I am more than aware of the issues us mums often face on a daily basis. Often just a friendly voice can make a daunting day a whole lot happier!
